Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre brought the iconic Beats Studio to the world in 2008, changing the headphone game forever. For the long-awaited release of the Studio Pro, we went back in time to document Beats’ lasting cultural impact and its role in inspiring icons. Narrated by Dr. Dre, the campaign showcases culture legends who have embraced the Studio — such as LeBron James, Serena Williams and Eminem — and place them alongside the next generation of icons in the making.
BEATS LOOKING BACK
We begun our rollout by posting archival photos of stars wearing old Studio models on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. Looking back at our legacy, we reminisced with the internet on the last 15 years since the first Studio was released.
